How to prevent foreskin
Prepuceitis is a common male disease. At the initial stage of the disease, the glans and prepuce surface edema and congestion can be seen, the urethral orifice is red and there are wounds and erosion, and can develop into superficial ulcers, with purulent secretions flowing out. The patient feels itching or burning at the penis, and then pain. After festering, it can discharge pus and smell bad. In severe cases, fatigue, low fever, swelling of inguinal lymph nodes and tenderness will also occur.
In addition, in the case of candidal balanitis caused by mold infection, it is often manifested as erythema of glans mucosa, local edema, smooth appearance, slight desquamation at the edge, and papules and small abscesses that may expand to form glans erosion. Repeated attacks of candidal balanitis can cause dry and cracked prepuce, fibrosis and sclerotic changes of balanitis.
Treatment of glans preputitis: soak the glans with 1:5000 potassium permanganate bath solution locally, once in the morning and evening, or lightly wipe the exudate or pus with 1:1000 bromogeramine with a cotton swab. Pay attention not to use various ointments and powders, otherwise it will easily aggravate the disease. Those with severe systemic reactions can be treated with antibiotics. For those who have no obvious therapeutic effect, attention should be paid to the diagnosis and treatment of special pathogenic microorganisms. Those who find candida in the secretion should be given nystatin or clotrimazole locally. If trichomonas are detected in the secretion, metronidazole should be given orally. In case of suspected venereal disease, gonococcus should be checked in the secretion, and attention should be paid to distinguish it from hard chancre and soft chancre.
