How to distinguish between delayed period and the most obvious signs of 10 days of pregnancy
How to distinguish between delayed period and pregnancy
Menstrual delay refers to delayed menstruation, which can be distinguished from pregnancy by HCG levels in the blood, early pregnancy reactions, and breast changes.
1. Blood HCG level: Women can go to the hospital for a blood HCG test. Based on the test results, it can be determined that the blood HCG level increases during pregnancy and is normal when menstruation is delayed;
2. Early pregnancy reaction: due to the substantial increase of estrogen level after pregnancy, water and sodium retention may lead to corresponding changes in gastrointestinal mucosa. Women usually exhibit nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and other early pregnancy reactions in the early stages of pregnancy. If there are no colds or colds during delayed menstruation, these symptoms generally do not occur;
3. Breast changes: In early pregnancy, estrogen and progesterone will rise to a certain extent, and the breasts will be affected by estrogen and progesterone to expand and soften, while delayed menstruation usually does not cause breast expansion and softening.
The most obvious symptom of 10 days of pregnancy
The menstrual cycle of women may be influenced by environmental, mental, and other factors. If they have recently had sexual activity, it is recommended to delay HCG testing by approximately 1 week using early pregnancy test strips or blood to determine if they are pregnant. If menstruation is delayed due to disease factors, active treatment should be given.
After 10 days of pregnancy, the most obvious symptom is delayed menstruation, with slight abdominal pain reactions. Some women may also have chest pain. Women with less obvious symptoms in the early stages of pregnancy generally experience obvious morning sickness after 2-3 months of pregnancy. After pregnancy, it is necessary to regularly go to the hospital for pregnancy tests, strengthen dietary nutrition, and promote the growth and development of the fetus in the abdomen.
The difference between delayed menstruation and pregnancy
Because for pregnant people, the first symptom is menopause, which indicates whether to check for pregnancy. But delayed menstruation is sometimes distinguished from pregnancy, whether it is pregnancy or delayed menstruation, as follows:
1. It depends on whether you have had sex or not. If you haven't had sex for two months and your menstrual cycle doesn't start this month, you will definitely not get pregnant.
2. Pregnancy usually lasts for more than 38 days, and there may be some pregnancy reactions that worsen before waking up early or going to bed late. Symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or abdominal discomfort caused by smelling a little oil smoke, pain or dizziness are often present, and symptoms such as delayed menstruation are often absent.
