How to Determine if Your Menstruation is Normal: Ten Symptoms of Irregular Menstruation

Menstrual irregularities
1. Premature menstruation: Premature menstruation refers to a normal menstrual cycle, which suddenly shortens by less than 21 days and lasts for more than 2 consecutive weeks, but the menstrual volume is normal.
2. Delayed menstruation: Regular menstruation, with menstrual errors lasting for more than 7 days, or even 40 to 50 days. The menstrual cycle lasts for more than 2 cycles, but the menstrual volume is normal.
3. Menstrual extension: The menstrual period is normal, normal, but prolonged, with a period exceeding 7 days or even 2 weeks of cleansing.
4. Excessive menstrual flow: On a physiological day, the amount of blood loss per day exceeds 80ml, or the menstrual flow significantly increases compared to the past, which is called excessive menstrual flow.
5. Low menstrual flow: The menstrual cycle is basically normal, with a significant decrease in menstrual flow and even a clear drop; Or if the menstrual period is shortened by less than two days and the menstrual volume is also small.
6. Mid menstrual bleeding: also known as menstrual bleeding or ovulatory bleeding. Refers to bleeding that occurs between two regular and normal menstrual cycles.
7. Dysmenorrhea: Dysmenorrhea is divided into two types: primary dysmenorrhea and secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea refers to dysmenorrhea without organic lesions in the reproductive organs, while secondary dysmenorrhea refers to dysmenorrhea caused by pelvic organic diseases.
8. Amenorrhea: Amenorrhea is divided into two types: primary and secondary. Primary amenorrhea refers to those who are over 14 years old, have undeveloped secondary sexual characteristics, or are over 16 years old, have developed secondary sexual characteristics, and have a future menstrual cycle. Secondary amenorrhea refers to the cessation of menstruation for more than 6 months after the establishment of a normal menstrual cycle, or does it stop for more than 3 cycles according to one's original menstrual cycle?
9. Premenstrual syndrome: Women exhibit a series of physiological and emotional discomfort symptoms in the later stages of the menstrual cycle, such as restlessness, insomnia, headache, breast swelling, etc. In severe cases, it can affect women's normal life.

1. Excessive volume or menstrual period greater than one week.
2. Delayed or advanced menstruation by one week or irregular menstruation.
3. The amount is too small, and only a small amount of blood is discharged each time.
