Do you know how to take care of a woman's lower body? In real life, the lower body is a mysterious and important place for women, but sometimes it is found that our lower body has a certain odor, and there are many reasons for the odor. So do you know how to take care of a woman's lower body? Below is Xiaobian telling you!
1. Reasons for odor in women's lower body
The reason is that bacterial vaginosis is causing trouble.
Bacterial vaginal disease refers to a disease caused by the proliferation of various pathogenic bacteria in the vagina, which mainly leads to an imbalance in vaginal ecological balance and puts the vagina in a pathological state. It is not called vaginitis, but rather a vaginal disease because its vaginal mucosa has no inflammatory response and vaginal secretions rarely detect white blood cells. Therefore, it was officially named bacterial vaginal disease by medical organizations in 1984.
Gardnerella vaginalis is the main bacterium causing bacterial vaginosis. Gardnerella is anaerobic and easily grows in the vagina. The growth temperature of Gardnerella is 25-40 ℃, and the most suitable reproduction temperature in the human body is 35-37 ℃. At pH 4.5, Gardnerella is not easy to grow, and does not grow at pH 4.0, which is in line with the acidic environment of the vagina in healthy women of reproductive age. Because vaginal bacteria in adult women's vagina can break down glycogen in vaginal epithelial cells into lactic acid, maintaining an acidic (pH 4-5) environment in vaginal secretions is not conducive to the growth and reproduction of Gardner bacteria. Therefore, even 60% of healthy women carrying vaginal Gardner bacteria do not have clinical symptoms.
Once the vaginal environment and pH value change, such as repeated vaginal flushing and drug abuse, Gardnerella and some anaerobic bacteria will multiply in large numbers. The report states that when suffering from bacterial vaginal diseases, the mixture of Gardnerella and anaerobic bacteria in the patient's vagina increases by 100-1000 times compared to the vagina of normal healthy women. After sexual intercourse, alkaline semen (pH 7.2-7.5) enters the vagina, further promoting the growth and reproduction of Gardnerella and anaerobic bacteria, leading to the release of a large amount of amines and emitting a rotten fishy odor.
2、 How to diagnose vaginal diseases
1. Increased vaginal discharge, grayish yellow, uniform and thin;
2. Vaginal pH greater than 4.5;
3. Positive ammonia test: If there is a fishy smell after mixing vaginal secretions with 10% potassium hydroxide solution, it is considered positive;
4. Find more clue cells under the microscope. Clue cells are a type of detached vaginal surface cells with serrated edges, caused by the adsorption of large amounts of bacteria on the edges.
