Sexual Health
How should couples do sexual health care? Under what circumstances should sexual intercourse be reduced or avoided
Modern people have a fast pace of life, and daily sleep has become an important part of restoring physical fitness and ensuring health. After a busy day, taking off clothes and sleeping is beneficial for the circulation of qi and blood, allowing the body's yang energy to relax and flow smoothly. And if you sleep with clothes, especially wearing some fashionable tight underwear, it may affect the circulation of qi and blood. Suppressing yang qi is not beneficial for sexual function.
Of course, sleeping naked also requires attention, and good hygiene habits are the key. Do not treat the bed sheets as snug pajamas that do not need to be changed, and the selection of bed sheets and bedding materials should also be careful. It is best to use comfortable, soft, and breathable fabrics to avoid skin irritation and affect sleep. In addition, if there is a urinary and reproductive system infection, it is not advisable to sleep naked.
The most appropriate time for each sexual intercourse is before falling asleep at night, in order to rest and recover physical strength after sexual intercourse. Sometimes, the man works hard during the day and feels tired. It is best to sleep for a while before engaging in sexual intercourse to avoid premature ejaculation. In addition, in the following situations, the man or woman must restrain their sexual desire and reduce or avoid sexual intercourse.
1. Early recovery from a serious illness makes sexual intercourse unsuitable. Generally speaking, sexual intercourse should be avoided during illness, as there are various types of diseases and the severity of the condition varies. It is best for oneself to openly seek advice from the doctor.
2. When overtired, intoxicated, or in a bad mood, it is not advisable to engage in sexual activity. After being drunk, men's sperm may undergo abnormalities. If pregnant, it can affect the fetus.
3. During menstruation, sexual intercourse is absolutely prohibited. In general, female vaginal secretions are acidic and can kill foreign bacteria, but during menstruation, vaginal secretions are neutralized by menstrual blood to become alkaline, becoming a good bacterial culture medium. During menstruation, the endometrium falls off, there are wounds in the uterus, and the uterine opening is slightly open. Sexual intercourse brings in bacteria, causing inflammation of the reproductive organs; If a person already has chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, menstrual intercourse can cause acute attacks, and menstrual intercourse can also exacerbate uterine congestion, causing increased menstrual blood, prolonged menstruation, or worsening menstrual discomfort.
4. During the first and last three months of pregnancy, sexual intercourse should be prohibited. In the early stages of pregnancy, the placenta does not grow firmly in the uterus, and sexual intercourse stimulates uterine contractions, leading to miscarriage; In late pregnancy, sexual intercourse causes premature birth, uterine bleeding, or puerperal fever; During the remaining months of pregnancy, sexual activity should also be moderate, and movements should not be intense, and excessive pressure should not be exerted on the female abdomen.
5. After childbirth and before the uterus recovers (about 6-7 weeks), sexual intercourse should be avoided, otherwise it may cause inflammation of the reproductive organs. Uterine bleeding may hinder the healing of perineal and vaginal wounds and the recovery of postpartum health. If postpartum vaginal bloody secretions (lochia) persist for a long time, the abstinence time should also be correspondingly extended.
6. After female circumcision (or removal) and male vas deferens ligation, sexual activity is prohibited for two weeks; Women should avoid sexual intercourse for a month after undergoing tubal ligation.
