Uterine fibroids are a familiar gynecological disease and also a benign tumor. They are mainly caused by abnormal daily habits and care, and their harm and impact on patients are also serious. Reasonable prevention is necessary.
How uterine fibroids are formed
1. Age: Benign tumors mostly occur in women during the reproductive stage, malignant tumors mostly occur in elderly women, and special types of tumors rarely occur in adolescents and young women.
2. Delivery: It is related to factors such as premature delivery, dense delivery, and excessive childbirth. During pregnancy, estrogen levels increase and fibroids rapidly increase.
3. Sexual hygiene: unclean sex can cause genital infections such as vaginitis, cervicitis, and cervical erosion.
4. Endocrine: Many women take estrogen containing drugs, supplements, and beauty products without the guidance of a doctor, intentionally or unconsciously increasing their estrogen levels in the body.
5. Bad lifestyle: Smoking, especially heavy smoking, drinking alcohol and consuming high fat foods for a long time.
6. Obesity: Obesity can cause metabolic disorders, leading to a lack of periodic regulation of progesterone, causing abnormal menstrual cycles, affecting ovulation, and increasing the risk of uterine fibroids.
7. Hormone levels:
(1) High estrogen: Biochemical tests have shown that the estrogen conversion of estradiol in fibroids is significantly lower than that of normal fibroid tissue, and the body concentration of estrogen in fibroids is significantly higher than that of surrounding fibroid tissue. Therefore, the high sensitivity of fibroid tissue to estrogen locally is one of the important factors in the occurrence of fibroids.
(2) Pregnancy hormone is high. Pregnancy hormone has the effect of promoting myoma division and stimulating myoma growth. High levels of pregnancy hormones in women are prone to inducing uterine fibroids.
8. Genetic factors: Cytogenetics shows that 25% -50% of uterine fibroids have cytogenetic abnormalities, such as chromosomal segment position exchange, chromosomal long arm rearrangement, or partial deletion. Uterine fibroids are formed by the proliferation of monoclonal muscle cells, while multiple uterine fibroids are composed of different clone cells.
Preventive methods for uterine fibroids
1. Prevent excessive fatigue: Special attention should be paid to rest during physiological days. Keep the external genitalia clean and dry, and the underwear should be wide. If there is too much vaginal discharge, it is important to rinse the external genitalia at all times.
2. Regulating diet: Women should eat more foods containing protein and vitamins. If there is excessive menstruation, in order to prevent iron deficiency anemia, it is necessary to eat more iron rich foods. Eat more vegetables and fruits, and avoid spicy and stimulating foods. However, mangoes in fruits have a hemostatic effect, so people who are menstruating should not eat them. Otherwise, uterine fibroids will occur.
