Four typical characteristics of dysmenorrhea caused by Endometriosis are the basis for judgment
Endometriosis is a disease of women's uterus and also a disease that seriously affects patients. Physiological pain is the most common symptom, and we must check it immediately.
Symptoms of endometriosis
1. Menstrual disorder: about 15% of Endometriosis patients have increased menstruation or prolonged menstruation, and a few patients have a small amount of bleeding before menstruation. New research has found that women with delayed menarche or menopause before the age of 12 are more at risk.
2. Physiological pain: Common symptoms are mostly secondary, that is, after the occurrence of endometriosis, the patient complains that there was no pain during menstruation in the past, and physiological pain begins at a certain period. It can occur before and after menstruation. Some menstrual cramps are severe and require bed rest or medication to relieve pain. Pain often worsens with the Menstrual cycle.
3. Female infertility: Endometriosis is one of the important factors that found female infertility in recent years. Research has shown that the infertility rate of patients with endometriosis can reach 30% -45%. Therefore, if women of childbearing age suffer from years of dysmenorrhea or infertility, they should be checked for the occurrence of the disease.
4. Dyspareunia or sexual discomfort: This is usually due to the retroversion fixation of ectopic endometrium in the rectum due to uterine indentation or lesions. During sexual intercourse, uterine lesions are involved and cause pain, which is usually manifested as deep Dyspareunia. Dyspareunia is most obvious before menstruation.
Examination of Endometriosis
1. Determination of CA125 (ovarian cancer associated antigen) value: CA125 is a high molecular glycoprotein that exists in the embryonic coelomic epithelial paramesonephric duct derivative and its Neoplasm tissue. It specifically binds to the monoclonal antibody OC-125. However, in patients with Endometriosis, the CA-125 value can be increased. With the increase of the endometriosis stage, the positive rate also increases, and its sensitivity and specificity are high, which is helpful for the diagnosis of Endometriosis, At the same time, the efficacy of Endometriosis.
2. Anti endometrium antibody (EMAb): anti endometrium antibody is an antigen targeting the endometrium, an Autoantibody that causes a series of immunopathological reactions, and a marker antibody of Endometriosis. There are anti endometrium antibodies in the blood, cervical mucus, Vaginal discharge and endometrium of Endometriosis patients. The detection rate of anti endometrium antibodies in Endometriosis patients is 70%~80%. Therefore, the detection of serum EMAb is an effective detection method for the diagnosis and efficacy observation of Endometriosis patients.
