Does watching too many pornographic movies cause headaches? Experts say it may be related to orgasm
Many men enjoy obtaining visual stimulation and enjoyment through pornographic films, but little do they know that this may lay hidden dangers. According to the Daily Mail of the UK on June 29th, a large study in India has found that watching porn regularly can trigger headaches.
A 24 year old single engineer in India has had a splitting headache every time he watches pornographic films for two years. Neurologists in New Delhi have found that patients have neither a history of headaches nor a family history of migraines, and have never suffered head injuries. Through further research, they found that the reason why watching pornographic films causes headaches is because excited emotions make the face and chin more sensitive to pain, and also affect cerebral blood flow, thereby inducing headaches.
Researchers also found that sexual related headaches are not uncommon and can be divided into two types:
One is a headache before orgasm. This type of headache gradually worsens over time from the beginning of sexual activity.

The second is orgasmic headache, which occurs suddenly when reaching orgasm. The headache caused by watching pornographic films belongs to the first type. Researchers suggest that men should watch pornography in moderation to avoid affecting their physical health.
