Do pelvic fluid accumulation require treatment? Five situations should not be underestimated
Pelvic effusion is a gynecological disease we are familiar with, and its incidence rate is also high. Usually, we should pay attention to our own body changes, and also pay attention to reasonable cooking and treatment according to our own physical conditions.
Does pelvic fluid require treatment
1. Physiological pelvic fluid accumulation: Physiological pelvic fluid accumulation often occurs after ovulation or early childbirth, and often disappears naturally without treatment.
2. Pathological pelvic effusion: Pathological pelvic effusion is often characterized by pelvic inflammation or endometriosis. The causes of pelvic inflammatory disease are often related to the patient's poor hygiene habits, such as physiological days, sexual activity within one month after childbirth, and bathing within one month after gynecological surgery. Iatrogenic infections caused by artificial abortion and lax disinfection of induced labor can also cause pelvic fluid accumulation. It is best to perform a posterior fornix puncture examination to identify the nature of the fluid caused by pelvic inflammation. If there is a chronic infection furnace, it may be inflammation of the gynecological system such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes, as well as tuberculosis and tumors. Pelvic inflammatory disease should be treated early as it can affect fertility in the long term. To determine the pathogenic bacteria of pelvic inflammatory disease, special examinations and targeted treatment must be carried out.
Does pelvic effusion require surgical treatment
1. Pelvic fluid accumulation does not necessarily require surgical treatment, as physiological pelvic fluid accumulation is normal and does not require treatment. Pathological pelvic effusion requires treatment, but does not require surgical treatment.
2. Surgical treatment is performed on masses such as hydrosalpinx and ovarian cysts in the fallopian tubes. If there is a small infection furnace that repeatedly causes inflammation, the author should also undergo surgical treatment. The surgery is based on the principle of complete cure, avoiding the possibility of recurrence of residual lesions. Unilateral adnexectomy or hysterectomy combined with bilateral adnexectomy is performed. For young women, ovarian function should be preserved as much as possible. Single therapy for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease has poor efficacy, and comprehensive treatment is best.
Five situations need to be taken seriously
1. When there is pelvic inflammation, the peritoneum is stimulated by inflammatory substances and can produce a large amount of exudate. B-ultrasound examination also produces pelvic fluid accumulation, but at this time, it is often accompanied by infection symptoms such as fever, blood tests, changes in white blood cells, etc.
2. Ascites is defined as ascites when the amount of free fluid in the abdominal cavity exceeds 200ml due to factors such as increased portal vein pressure, visceral artery dilation, and decreased plasma colloid osmotic pressure in patients with liver cirrhosis
3. When suffering from abdominal tumors, the peritoneum is stimulated by inflammatory substances and can produce a large amount of exudate. B-ultrasound also shows pelvic fluid accumulation, which often shows clinical manifestations of primary tumors.
