Hydrosalpinx is a gynecological disease that we need to pay attention to, especially after discovering abnormal manifestations, it is necessary to promptly go to the hospital for reasonable examination, and the method of examination is particularly important.
Can ultrasound examination detect hydrosalpinx
1. Mild hydrosalpinx, which means the inner diameter of the fallopian tube is less than 37.5px, the location of pelvic organs is deep, the resolution is cross, and it is difficult to diagnose. Even if there are changes in bead samples, it should be distinguished from pelvic vein accumulation and dilation. Of course, this identification is achieved through the blood flow signals in ultrasound, which are mostly low-speed venous blood flow signals.
2. Moderate hydrosalpinx, with a diameter of 1.5-75px. Appearing as a beaded or curved neck shaped change, with impatience at the edges of the fallopian tubes, varying thickness of the cyst wall, uneven echoes, incomplete septa and punctate strong echoes within the cyst. CDFI blood flow signals can be seen on the wall of the thickened sausage sample's fallopian tubes, with abundant blood flow signals.
3. Severe hydrosalpinx with clear ultrasound is different from moderate hydrosalpinx. The fallopian tubes are oval or circular in shape, with smooth fallopian tubes, thin cyst walls, incomplete septa or punctate echoes within the cyst. The cystic mass with severe hydronephrosis is not a bead like mass with mild hydronephrosis, or a sausage like or curved neck bottle like mass with moderate hydronephrosis, but a circular or elliptical mass that needs to be distinguished from ovarian cysts
Symptoms of hydrosalpinx
1. Increased vaginal discharge: Many patients with hydrosalpinx report increased vaginal discharge, watery vaginal discharge, etc. This is because when there is hydrosalpinx, the dilated and unexpanded lumens of the fallopian tubes are still connected, and patients often experience intermittent vaginal discharge. Patients should be taken seriously.
2. Lumbosacral pain: Due to inflammatory stimulation, patients experience lumbosacral pain. However, the degree varies and the weight is light. The more severe the condition, the more obvious the patient's pain.
3. Abdominal pain: Frequent abdominal pain, severe lower abdominal pain, pain on one or both sides of the lower abdomen. Severe fallopian tube blockage is more pronounced in patients. However, due to the acute phase of salpingitis, patients often have a history of abdominal pain. Generally, the purulent nature of the fallopian tubes is serous, meaning that after the hydrosalpinx and hydrosalpinx are absorbed by the body, the inflammation has healed. Patients with hydrosalpinx usually have no symptoms of abdominal pain.
4. Severe patient fever: Patients with blocked fallopian tubes are mostly chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, such as pain on one or both sides of the lower abdomen, falling, excessive secretions, and low back pain. Some patients do not have obvious clinical symptoms, and infertility is only discovered during hospital examinations after years of marriage.
