Can seminal vesiculitis cause sexual dysfunction? Adhere to 4 steps to treat seminal vesiculitis
The seminal vesicle is closely related to male reproduction. Male seminal vesicle is not the main reproductive organ, but also an essential reproductive organ. Inflammation of male seminal vesicle will affect the quality of sperm production. Men want to have children. The combination of these poor quality sperm and eggs can easily cause fetal malformation. The harm of seminal vesicle inflammation is very serious.
What are the hazards of seminal vesiculitis?
Repeated attacks: if seminal vesiculitis is not treated in a regular hospital in time, it is easy to have repeated attacks, which is also one of the main hazards of seminal vesiculitis. Due to the structural characteristics of the seminal vesicle, the drainage after inflammation is poor, and bacterial invasion is easy to leave a curse, which is difficult to treat, and it is easy to recur if the treatment is not timely or incomplete.
Cause male infertility: the seminal vesicles are anatomically infected with the prostate, vas deferens, urethra, bladder and other organs of the genitourinary system. Simple seminal vesiculitis is rare, but chronic inflammation of the seminal vesicle can lead to infertility. In addition, 90% of the semen is seminal vesicle secretion, of which fructose can be used as the source of sperm power. When the seminal vesicle is inflamed, these secretions decrease, affecting sperm vitality. Inadequate semen volume and inability to fill the sperm pool behind the vagina can also cause infertility.
Infection: The seminal vesicle gland is anatomically adjacent to prostate infertility, vas deferens, urethra, bladder, etc., so seminal vesiculitis often occurs in other organs of the genitourinary system.
Sexual dysfunction: seminal vesiculitis is longer than chronic prostatitis, blood sperm appears, semen is pink, red or blood clot, sexual intercourse pain appears, sexual desire decline, sexual dysfunction and other symptoms due to mental fear, tension and other reasons appear, which seriously affects the life of husband and wife and family peace.
Treatment of seminal vesiculitis can be divided into four steps
1. Local treatment: warm water hip bath (water temperature 42 ℃) and perineal hot compress to improve local blood circulation and help inflammation subside. Avoid sitting too long to avoid pelvic congestion
2. Select appropriate antibiotics: acute seminal vesiculitis should be treated until the symptoms completely disappear, and then continue to use drugs for 1-2 weeks; Chronic seminal vesiculitis needs to be continued for more than 4 weeks to consolidate the effect. According to our experience, the intravenous application of cefalexin and quinolones in the second generation of cephalosporin is effective.
3. Life should be regular and form good habits. Combine work and rest, and avoid smoking, alcohol and spicy food.
