Prostatitis is a common and frequently occurring disease in men, especially chronic prostatitis, which often exists in a subclinical state in the male population. Chronic prostatitis often has the characteristics of hidden damage, mild early symptoms, recurrent symptoms, and spontaneous relief after onset, and will not have a significant impact on the patient's life and work for a considerable period of time. The characteristics of prostatitis, especially chronic prostatitis, often lead to some early patients neglecting the diagnosis and treatment of prostatitis, resulting in gradually worsening prostate damage, leading to the transformation of the disease nature, and resulting in difficult to treat or incurable consequences.
(1) Prostatitis and its damage to the body are not a single disease. The occurrence of prostatitis is a pathological reaction formed by the invasion of pathogenic factors into the body and the response of the human immune mechanism to pathogenic factors. The development and outcome of the disease are related to the pathogenic ability of the pathogen to the body and the recognition and clearance ability of the immune system to pathogenic factors. Due to the close interrelationships between each tissue and organ in the body, the occurrence and development of diseases are often not singular or limited, but often due to the diffusion of pathogenic factors and the mutual influence between other tissues and organs, resulting in secondary damage to other tissues and organs, resulting in more extensive damage to the entire body. In principle, for any disease, not only should it be treated, but it should also be treated early and thoroughly.
(2) The nature of chronic diseases can undergo transformation. Due to the hidden existence and slow development of prostatitis, it will not have a significant impact on human life and work for a considerable period of time; In addition, people have heard the myth that prostatitis is "difficult to cure" and have even been deceived by quack doctors, resulting in people not being able to treat the prostate correctly in the early stages. However, like other diseases, prostatitis is by no means a localized inflammatory disease of the male prostate. The prostate of patients not only has various types of damage, but long-term chronic inflammatory processes often lead to the transformation of the nature of prostate diseases, leading to more serious diseases such as benign prostatic hyperplasia and even prostate cancer, as well as diseases that can lead to the nervous system, digestive system, cardiovascular system, bones and other systemic tissues and organs. Research has found that the occurrence of many malignant tumors such as gastric cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, skin cancer, and prostate cancer is often closely related to long-term chronic inflammation of local tissues. Chronic inflammatory reaction not only causes gene mutation of body cells through toxic metabolites, but also the genes of pathogens can often be integrated into nucleic acids of body cells, causing gene mutation of cells. Molecular biology methods using genetic testing have detected genes of human papillomavirus, herpes simplex virus, and cytomegalovirus in the prostate tissue of patients with prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and prostate cancer. Although the relationship between these viruses present in the prostate and the occurrence and development of different types of prostate diseases cannot be determined at present, it is clear that these viruses have the ability to cause tumors in other tissues and have been listed as important tumorigenic factors by the International Health Organization.
(3) Scientific treatment is needed, although it is often said that physical health is one's own. If any disease occurs in the body, the pain must be borne by oneself. On the contrary, if one has a healthy body, their happiness and happiness are also enjoyed by oneself. However, in human society, no natural person is isolated. As a member of the family and society, anyone's illness and health can have varying degrees of impact on the emotions, life, work, and other aspects of the people around them. Prostatitis, like other various diseases, cannot be "let go" or treated with non-standard methods. If left untreated, it can lead to the transformation of simple prostatitis into complex prostate diseases, even leading to refractory prostate diseases or diseases of other tissues and organs. Among the prostatitis patients treated by the author, the vast majority of patients are accompanied by symptoms of decreased sexual function or mental disorders (psychological difficulties or disorders). These patients, due to decreased sexual function, mental anxiety, unstable emotions, irritability, and insomnia, may cause their wives to not understand or even suspect, affecting other family members' difficulty in normal life and rest, leading to tense family relationships and even the phenomenon of divorce between spouses. Taking non-standard treatment for prostatitis has more serious consequences than not treating it. Among prostatitis patients who have received non-standard treatment before, there is a similar experience and feeling: during the non-standard treatment process, the patient's symptoms not only do not improve, but also further worsen. For the non-standard treatment of prostatitis, it is often due to the lack of pathogen specificity in the drugs or methods used, the inability to completely eliminate pathogens, the occurrence of drug resistance mutations or cell wall defect mutations, leading to further growth and reproduction of pathogens, further aggravation of prostate damage, and even serious consequences that are difficult to treat or cannot be cured.
