Amenorrhea is a physiological change in the female body, and its impact on women also needs to be understood. After amenorrhea, timely and symptomatic treatment is necessary.
Menorrhea hazards
1. Osteoporosis and hypertension: Amenorrhea can lead to a series of menopausal symptoms in women. After amenorrhea, women may experience osteoporosis, limb weakness, elevated triglycerides, cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein, as well as atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, and hypertension
2. Decreased libido: Amenorrhea is a common symptom of gynecological diseases, which has adverse effects on the patient's body and can cause uterine atrophy and physiological dysfunction, such as pain during sexual intercourse, decreased secretion, and decreased libido.
3. Accelerated aging: The symptoms of premature amenorrhea caused by premature ovarian failure can accelerate female aging, leading to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, osteoporosis, decreased sleep quality, painful urination, frequent urination, and sexual disharmony. Blind dieting will lead to amenorrhea of women of childbearing age, cause endocrine disorders, shrink the reproductive organogenesis, and affect the reproductive function. Therefore, women with premature amenorrhea need timely treatment.
4. Infertility: Women with amenorrhea should first determine the degree of early amenorrhea in order to induce ovulation and pregnancy. Patients with mild amenorrhea may experience an ovulation cycle. Patients with moderate amenorrhea have extremely low levels of estrogen, no proliferative changes in the endometrium, and almost no development of follicles, ultimately leading to female infertility.
Early amenorrhea hazards
1. Young married women experience long-term future menstruation, namely early amenorrhea and infertility.
2. Early amenorrhea may only cause some women to suffer from mental disorders such as depression, seriously affecting their normal lives.
3. The amenorrhea and lactation syndrome caused by premature amenorrhea can easily lead to uterine atrophy and gradually transform into hemostasis, causing significant damage to women's physical health.
4. The harm of premature ovarian failure caused by premature amenorrhea is the most severe. It often leads to difficulties in sexual life, genital atrophy, increased risk of uterine cancer, premature aging, systemic diseases, etc.
Amenorrhea treatment
1. Etiological treatment: Find the organic disease that causes amenorrhea and treat it appropriately. For example, tuberculous endometritis is treated with antituberculosis therapy. Patients with intrauterine adhesions should expand the uterine cavity and place an intrauterine device to prevent recurrence of adhesions. After the diagnosis of pituitary or ovarian tumors is confirmed, the treatment plan is determined based on the location, size, and nature of the tumor, and other comprehensive measures such as surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy are chosen.
