This survey was conducted on high school students from a key high school in Guangdong Province. Ten classes from three grades were randomly selected and 505 valid questionnaires were collected. Is it very important in the respondent's chastity? The proportion of answers to this question varies for each grade. As the grade increases, the proportion of students choosing 'yes' decreases, with 68.39%, 59.44%, and 53.16% of students choosing' yes' in their first, second, and third year of high school, respectively. The proportion of high school students who choose to consider specific situations reaches 41.77%.

Experts believe that a simple conclusion cannot be drawn. This survey indicates that teenagers face the choice of chastity during their growth process, and they also incorporate more thinking into their choices.

Slow pace of sex education

The survey results show that with the increase of grade, the proportion of high school students' sexual knowledge from books, magazines, and media gradually increases, with a height of 53.77%, 61.64%, and 66.25%. Schools and teachers have a downward trend with the increase of grade. Expert analysis shows that high school students' self-awareness, independence, and self-learning ability are increasing, but at the same time, with the aggravation of learning tasks, schools have slowed down the pace of sex education.

A survey shows that 67.29% of students find it difficult to consult their parents about related issues. Among students who boldly asked their parents questions, 24.84% of parents were able to answer openly, but 7.87% of parents were still shy of opening their mouths to explain. Experts believe that the main reason must be found from parents. Some parents believe that sex education is not their own business and are accustomed to throwing this ball at schools and society.
