Abnormal vaginal discharge is a common phenomenon and an abnormal reaction, which needs to be taken seriously. There are many reasons for abnormal vaginal discharge, and immediate examination and targeted treatment are necessary.

4. Bloody leukorrhea: There is blood mixed in the vaginal discharge, and it is necessary to be vigilant about the possibility of malignant tumors such as cervical cancer and endometrial cancer. However, benign lesions such as cervical polyps, cervical erosion, submucosal fibroids, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, urethral caruncle, and senile vaginitis can also cause bloody vaginal discharge and a small amount of blood caused by intrauterine devices.
5. Urinary dysfunction accompanied by increased vaginal discharge: In typical gonococcal infections, the amount of vaginal discharge and urethral discharge increases equally, presenting as yellow purulent and intense inflammatory response. Cervicitis caused by Chlamydia has a low viscosity of the vaginal discharge and an increase in white serous cervical secretions.
6. Colorless transparent vaginal discharge: difficult to distinguish from normal vaginal secretions, increased secretion, common in cervical erosion, ovarian dysfunction, mainly due to insufficient estrogen after menstruation stops. The vagina gradually shrinks and thins, with a decrease in lactobacilli and symptoms such as watery, foul smelling secretions and estrogen.
Causes of abnormal vaginal discharge
1. Fungal infection: Fungal infection is one of the causes of abnormal vaginal discharge. According to experts, vaginal discharge generally appears as small pieces of tofu residue or curdled milk, caused by fungal infections and often accompanied by itching of the external genitalia.
2. Diseases such as cervical polyps: Cervical polyps, uterine fibroids, and severe cervicitis are also causes of abnormal vaginal discharge.
